The Diplomat Sathorn

Located on the doorstep of Surasak BTS the Diplomat Sathorn is one of the new condos along the Sathorn South Road. With a spacious palatial hotel like lobby and outstanding rooftop facilities with far reaching views across the city skyline and down to the river this is quite a spectacular building. The one bed condos are a generous size with open plan lounge dining area, extra height ceilings and wall to wall windows. On the downside, the balcony is quite small and the aircon units take up most if the available space. There is room for clothes drying but apart from this very little else. The rooms have been nicely finished, the kitchen has integrated appliances with built in fridge and freezer and microwave oven. There is lots of storage throughout the unit with no space being overlooked where a useful storage unit can be fitted. The bathroom has a double shower enclosure and also a closet which contains a front loading washing machine. The outstanding feature of this building is the roof top pool and garden facility. This area is stunning with outstanding Views in multiple directions. Sunken salas are recessed in to the shallow pool section. The main pool is excellent for lap swimmers. The shallow area off the main pool is excellent for those seeking to cool down but not necessarily swim. There appears to be a constant cooling breeze which makes this a very pleasant place to relax. Despite being in the heart of the city there is little or no noise up here so it is very relaxing. A nice little feature are the plug sockets beside the loungers allowing easy access to top up appliances like phones and tablets. The toilets on the pool level would put many a 5 Star hotel to shame and were nicely decorated and spotlesly clean. One floor up is the fitness room which runs the full width of the floor and has panoramic views over the city. Plenty of treadmills, elipitical trainers and recumbant bikes and appliances are available and there is also a separate stretching / yoga area. Surasak station steps are 10 metres from the pavement outside the condo so access to other areas of the City is really easy. Siam BTS intetchange station is around an eight minute commute away.

1ST AUG 2018 THR PLACE IS SO CHEAP. ONLY HAVE AIRCON WHEN THE KIDS COME HONE FROM SCHOOL AND HAVE LESSONS IN THE LOBBY. BECAREFUL CHOOSER HERE NO AIR-CONDITIONING IN PUBLIC SPACES. CHEAP OWNER CONMIYTCO No aircon in lobby No fan on floor or in elevator The cheap people who run this place forgot to turn the Juristic office aircon off.lol nice for them. Thank God I didn't buy here. The place goes down in standard every week. If these people vote to empty the swimming pool they will if it saves then 200 baht per month in service bills. 9 degrees in the lobby this morning Elevator like a Sauna. Update: The management committee have voted more than 50% to turn the aircon off and to turn off the fans in the elevator. Save money for them . It's due to the place just being full of kids attending the school next door . Normally the kids and maids live here. Not suitable for working renters. I am stuck until. April. But I am negotiating a rent reduction to 25k for one bed in line with the lack of facilities. Avoid Unfortunately the building committee ruin this condo They won't even spend money on turning the air conditioning on My advice would be to stay The Address The Bangkok Anywhere but here Great building but run by people who won't put their hand in the pocket. People open their doors to let the air run through the condo instead if turn the aircon on lol It's like being in a 5k place in Pattanakhan No communal air conditioning No fan in elevator Disgraceful

The building is well maintained, staff is excellent, parking is good, gym is great! Very nice rooms! Highly recommend! Next Surasak BTS.

5 stars in every regard. Love the rooms, the parking, the service and of course the location is great as well.
